For people working in a Geo – Spatial Modelling (Disaster Modelling using Statistical Tools).
Location                      : Noida
Relevant Experience    : 3-7 Yrs of relevant experience in Geo-Spatial Modelling
Education                    : Post-graduate / Masters/Doctorate in Structural/Earthquake/Environmental Engineering..

Experience Required

•    At least 4 years of working experience in modeling after completion of Post-graduate / Masters/Doctorate in Structural/Earthquake/Environmental Engineering.
•    Experience in accessing and interpreting data and technical publications from various sources.
•    Programming knowledge, preferably in both statistical and scientific languages (R, Matlab) and data manipulation tools (SQL, Microsoft Office)

Objective of the role:

•    Identify, plan and execute continuous improvements in existing and future disaster models.
•    Flood Determination .
•    Responsibilities will include working with colleagues in both India and the US on the development of Environmental Disaster models.
•    Assisting with research related to enhancement and expansion of the models.
•    Reviewing and interpreting available data for benchmarking and trending.
•    Act as an internal subject matter expert for the disaster models.
•    Geospatial Modelling Techniques.
•    Data Capture and Analysis.
•    Performing Research & Analytics on the Data so as to provide it to the Technical team.
•    Support various other model development projects.

Successful Candidates:

•    Should be detail oriented and be a team player with a high degree of self-motivation
•    Have an ability to learn quickly
•    Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
•    Should possess adequate knowledge of SAS, SQL or any other programming knowledge, such that he can create simple tools to automate repetitive tasks.
