We are currently looking for an Assistant Brand Manager- International Markets position with the topmost FMCG Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at Kolkata.
Our client is a conglomerate with an aggregate group turnover of about Rs 3000 crore the group has business interests in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), paper and news print, etc. The Group’s fountain of strength are its ingrained value system, innovativeness and an over 20,000 passionate and dedicated staff, engaged in knowledge sharing.
The flagship company of the Group, is a coveted Rs 1100 crore business entity , a leading player in the personal and healthcare consumer products industry in India engaged in manufacturing and marketing of health, beauty and personal care products that are based entirely on ayurvedic formulation.
Candidate Profile :
• Premier B-School MBA with about 2-3 years experience in Marketing and Brand Management/ Sales / Trade Marketing in a Reputed FMCG/ Beverages Co.
• Strategic thinking and ability to build strong partnerships
• Ability to collaborate with strong people management skills
• Manage ambiguity
• Excellent analytical abilities
Atleast 2+ years of experience in mainline FMCG categories of which the candidate should have worked in a Sales/ Trade marketing or a brand.The candidate must demonstrate a sound experience in general management, product development, trade and consumer insights, copy strategy, ATL/BTL communication as also a sound understanding of his operating business environment. Appreciation of related specialist functions other than Marketing is expected. He should have strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ablity to think and operate strategically towards taking effective business decisions.
The jobholder will be a member of a Brand Group within the Marketing department and will assist the Brand Manager in conceptualisation, development and implementation of Brand Strategies. The brand group is responsible for the management of the brands owned or licensed by the Company. This includes the packaging, product, communications, price and image positioning. The Astt Brand Manager is also responsible for the identification of new opportunities and the initiation, development and deployment of new brands within/ outside existing brand families.
