Role : Manager PPC (production planning and control)for SG iron foundry
A Client of Antal International,
CTC : 9 Lacs – 12 Lacs
Responsibilities :
1. Coordinate with Sales 2. Prepare aggregate plan for the foundry 3. Prepare weekly plan 4. Day wise/shift wise/hour wise pouring schedule 5. Planning carried out based on heat and specification. 6. Prepare periodic progress reports 7. Arrange Purchase Planning against production planning 8. Forecast & planning & Inventory plan & control 9. Raw materials allocation / supplier co ordination 10. Inventory planning and minimum stock maintenance 11. Valuation of inventory under LIFO & FIFO methods 12. Coordinate with Stores 13. schedule for despatch based on the marketing schedule 14. Plan despatch to ensure timely delivery 15. Monitor schedule vs. actual despatch 16. Keep track of customer returns 17. Coordinate with pattern shop for availability of tooling 18. Take care of the customers’ specific requirements
Qualifications : The Person
1. Degree in Commerce, arts or science / Degree or Diploma in engineering 2. 7 to 10 Experience in a foundry catering to auto 3. Excellent communication (verbal and written) 4. A dedicated team player, 5. Aptitude for some technical concepts 6. Ability to multitask and establish personal objectives to meet established deadlines 7. Bilingual in English and Tamil 8. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
